Video Setup Help

Below is a step by step process that will guide you through the setup up process so that you can begin your video experience.



Flash Player Requirements

1. If you can see our video player below in the orange dotted box you have a proper version of Flash already installed and can Watch the video tutorial and move on to step



If not, you will need to make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed by visiting:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about
(Version 9,0,115,0 is the minimum requirement)

2. When you have confirmed that the latest version of Adobe Flash Player is installed, watch the question video by clicking the “Play Video” button in the top left of your screen.

3. After playback, click the “Record Video” button and select “Allow” to enable temporary access to your camera and microphone. If you do not see a popup dialog box, please right-click your mouse (control+click on a mac) on the video player and select “Settings…”

4. Select the Camera Tab in the settings box. If you are using a Logitech camera you must select the “Logitech Quickcam” option from the drop down menu. If you are using a Macintosh with the built in iSight camera then you must select “USB Video Class Video” from the drop down menu. If you are using a different model camera then choose it from the drop down menu.

5. You should now see a live video in the background behind the dialog box and the green light on the camera should be on. Click the blue square box with the web cam icon in it and you will enable a small preview. If you do not see a preview in either place mentioned then work your way through the cameras available in the drop down menu until you have a live preview.

Audio Setup

6. Now select the Microphone tab in the settings box.

Select “Logitech Mic” if you are using a Logitech Camera. If you are using a Macintosh computer then select Built-in Microphone. If you have another microphone that you would rather use then select it from the drop down menu.

7. Check the activity meter for movement to ensure that your selected microphone is detecting audio as you speak normally. Peaks on the meter should be red for only a slight moment. Adjust your input audio using the Rocord Volume slider.

8. Click “Close” to complete your setup. Please Note: You should now see yourself in the video player. If you do not, please reload the webpage and begin again at step #2 above to recheck your settings.
