As you probably know (or as we like to boast ;^), Qualvu has created some notable innovations in how the Web can be used to collect video-based consumer and professional responses for qualitative research.
However, what you may not know is that around the halls and water cooler here at Qualvu HQ, we’ve always maintained that collecting data is the easy part – although we have achieved some significant breakthroughs in how webcam video is aggregated. It’s what Qualvu enables our clients to do with that data that is remarkable.
That’s why we’re so pleased to announce the latest release of our VuPoint platform, an analytics portal specifically designed to manage and organize video-based qualitative output that is generated through online and even offline methods. Included in the most recent release of VuPoint are several new features that make turning participant webcam submissions into actionable intelligence even easier and faster:
- Video playback that allows users to skip forward and backward five seconds with a click of a button, enabling much faster viewing of raw video
- Ability to import and automatically create online report slides from PowerPoint 2003 and 2007, with pixel-perfect likeness to the PowerPoint slides
- Updated video highlight reel player that allows clients to drag and drop clips into any order and simply play the entire reel (complete with automated transition between clips!)
- Automated feature that allows researchers to add an “appendix” slide to each report that links to all raw video responses
- Many more cool features and enhancements that make the whole process more streamlined
