Qualvu has some recent exciting software updates.
“Qualvu DIY”
We have created a very cool new way for clients to use the Qualvu platform – called Qualvu DIY – it allows our clients to create and launch their own online video-based qualitative research. Based on the foundation of the proprietary Qualvu engine that also serves our custom research business, the Qualvu DIY portal let’s clients conduct smaller, tactical projects on their own, and use our intuitive tools to do more of their own analysis.
Here is the basic workflow (using the DIY wizard):
- Select a research template, research objective and camera type
- Choose the number of participants
- Choose screening criteria and locales for the research
- Choose the type of output (searchable video is automatic, and clients can choose either or both video highlight reels or a simple topline with key observations)
- That’s it! From there the Qualvu process takes over and the project management team takes over and stewards the project from start to finish.
Qualvu DIY can be accessed through a widget on the dashboard – and although in beta we’re already getting enthusiastic feedback from clients, and have already seen clients launch their own projects in the first few days after launch.
Qualvu.com Performance Updates
We’ve made several technical enhancements to qualvu.com that should improve the overall responsiveness of the entire portal by an estimated 30%. You should notice that pages in the Qualvu portal load faster and things like sorting lists and Vupoint access (the Qualvu client portal where video is organized and clips are created) are more responsive overall.
Qualvu Workflow & Processing
We’ve had a saying around Qualvu since the first days after founding – “Collecting video responses is the easy part – it’s turning it into usable intelligence that’s the hard part.” Since those first days we’ve been working relentlessly on what we refer to as our project workflow and processing, or the “Qualvu assembly line” of project management that ensures hundreds of projects are managed quickly, efficiently, and easily despite myriad moving parts.
We recently released a significant update that incorporates tracking, task management and communication features that greatly enhances our speed and efficiency. Although the software and interfaces are largely invisible to our clients, our workflow software is a huge competitive advantage in the marketplace for online video-based project delivery. Our clients realize the value through organized, fast-moving, and smooth projects that make Qualvu a joy to use.
So the result of this focus is an update on an already very powerful software system built from the ground-up, which guides and enforces the proprietary Qualvu operational formula. With the assembly line, we are able to deliver timely and cost-effective qualitative solutions, allowing us to do more.
