Hot Dogs & Awards to Close a Great Summer

August 25, 2010

As the summer comes to an end Qualvu celebrated another outstanding quarter with our first company BBQ where John Williamson (CEO), Brooks Pettus (COO), and Rodney Holm (CTO) were presented with the Colorado Companies to Watch official certificate.  John Laporta, Business Development Director at HEIN & Associates, and Rachel Griffin from the City of Lakewood presented the certificate at The Lakewood, CO Park & Pavilion where the BBQ was held.

“We want to show our appreciation to our employees and let them know how valuable they are.  I’ve been getting ribbed all day that everyone was surprised we let them out of the office!  Our employees work so hard on a daily basis, it’s nice to kick back and enjoy a beautiful Colorado summer afternoon with everyone.”  CEO John Williamson said.  “They deserve every bit of this reward for all of the hard work they put into Qualvu.  We couldn’t ask for a better group of people.”

The BBQ included an intense volleyball game, ladder golf, bags and of course great food and gigantic cake with our new logo compliments of the Award Committee.  Qualvu looks forward to hosting similar events again throughout the year.

Colorado Companies to Watch, a program sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation, recognizes second-stage companies that are developing new industries throughout the state. Award winners possess such characteristics as growth focused, privately-held, headquartered in Colorado, and generating $750,000 to $50 million in annual sales. The award allows the state of Colorado to recognize its trend-setting business leaders helping to strengthen the state’s economy.
